Matthew is highly experienced across opera/music theatre. Recent theatre highlights include: Tosca (Assistant – NI Opera), Bach St John Passion (Staged – Cappella Caeciliana) Nobody/Somebody World Premiere (NI Opera) Dogfight (Belvoir Players), West Side Story (Braid Theatre), My Fair Lady (Braid Theatre), Godspell (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Les Miserables (Helix Theatre), The Last Five Years (AMD – Lyric Theatre). He is also a resident MD at Italia Conti. He is in demand as a vocal coach/facilitator, with some recent highlights include working with the Andrea Boccelli World Tour, Ulster Touring Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, the Hallé Orchestra, International College of Musical Theatre, and the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland.
Matthew’s original Music Theatre piece ’Érainn’, for which he composed the music and lyrics received its premiere in Belfast in Spring 2022, and will be followed by an album recording and Irish tour in late 2023. For more info visit https://erainnmusical.com/
